Some light drizzle in the morning with a few sunny spells in the afternoon and a stiff F4 south westerly breeze. Watches 0630-1230.

It was another good morning for the vismiggers with 39 Wigeon, 10 Pintails, 402 Teal, a Tufted Duck, single Velvet Scoter, a Cattle Egret which paused fore a while at the warren, 42 Skylarks, a Sand Martin, 24 Swallows, 33 House Martins, a putative Citrine Wagtail seen briefly at the potato fields (after an interesting buzzy Wagtail was sound recorded at chalk bank), 2 Grey Wagtails, 19 Alba Wagtails, a Richard's Pipit, 322 Meadow Pipits, a Tree Pipit, 10 Rock Pipits, 10 Chaffinches, 23 Greenfinches, 538 Linnets, 83 Lesser Redpolls, 182 Goldfinches, 197 Siskins, 16 Yellowhammers and 69 Reed Buntings. 

The Yellow-browed Warbler was again present at the narrows as was the Barred Warbler at Sammys with the first Woodcock of the autumn at the warren. other bits saw a Pied Flycatcher in the crown carpark, a Tree Pipit still in north field and the usual Black Redstart near thecrown while the Garganey was again on beacon ponds. On the Humber 12 Curlew Sandpipers, a Spotted Redshank and a Greenshank were off the warren.

Just outside the area 7 Glossy Ibis were at the Oustray re-alignment.
