Various amounts of cloud and sunny spells with a F4 north easterly. Watches: 0620-0820,1500-2030, 

The good birding continues with both the ARCTIC WARBLER in canal hedge and CITRINE WAGTAIL around Kilnsea wetlands still present, while an Icterine Warbler was found in Sykes field, a Red-backed Shrike on vicars lane, a Wryneck at Sammy's and a Quail at Chalky point by the path side. Other bits were 11 Willow Warbler, 8 Reed Warbler, a Blackcap, 2 Garden Warbler, 11 Lesser Whitethroat, 3 Spotted Flycatcher, 11 Robin, 10 Pied Flycatcher, a Black Redstart, 4 Redstart, 11 Whinchat, 4 Wheatear, 21 Yellow Wagtail and a juvenile Crossbill.

The sea had several bits of interest with a Cory's Shearwater, 3 Sooty Shearwater, 359 Kittiwake, 2 Great Skua, 4 Pomarine Skua, 47 Arctic Skua and 2 Puffin. The evening roost movement saw 2 Black Tern, 2441 Common and 4 Arctic Tern.

The 2 juvenile Red-necked Phalaropes were still on beacon ponds early morning with 7 Avocet, 30 Black-tailed Godwit, 4 Ruff, Curlew Sandpiper, Little Stint, Spotted Redshank, 9 Greenshank, Great White Egret and Spoonbill around this area.

Cloudy with a F5 north easterly. Watches: 0615-0920.

There was a small arrival of migrants in the morning bringing an ARCTIC WARBLER to canal hedge though was very elusive, (a possible Booted Warbler seen three times by the sluice along the canal) and later a juvenile CITRINE WAGTAIL behind the Riverside hotel. There was also a Quail, 9 Willow Warbler, a Garden Warbler, 2 Spotted Flycatcher, 5 Pied Flycatcher, 2 Redstart, a Whinchat, 1 Wheatear and 20 Yellow Wagtail. The Willow Tit was again on feeders at Hillrise in Easington.

The 2 juvenile Red-necked Phalarope were still on beacon ponds plus 8 Avocet, 51 Black-tailed Godwit, 5 Ruff, 1500 Dunlin, 3 Curlew Sandpipers, 1057 Redshank, 2 Wood Sandpipers, a Spotted Redshank, the Great White Egret, a Spoonbill and 2 Caspian Gull.

A cloudy day with the odd spot of rain in the morning.

A great addition to the year list was a Willow Tit on feeders in an Easington garden, a much needed Spurn tick for many local lsiters. The 2 Red-necked Phalaropes were still around beacon ponds showing much better than the previous week. This same area also held a Great White Egret, 8 Avocet, 47 Black-tailed Godwit, 9 Ruff, 4 Spotted Redshank, 500 Redshank, 5 Greenshank, 3 Common Sandpiper, a Green Sandpiper, 2 Wood Sandpiper, 3 Curlew Sandpiper, 7 Caspian Gulls and a Yellow-legged Gull. 

There were a few bits of interest over the sea with 7 Fulmar, 3 Sooty Shearwater, 5 Manx Shearwater, 3 Great Skua, 2 Long-tailed Skua, 39 Arctic Skua and a Puffin. On land there was very little in the way of grounded migrants the best being 11 Willow Warbler, 2 Pied Flycatcher and 2 Wheatear.

A warm day, sunny with a F2 north easterly. Watches: 0630-0930.

All the good birds were still in place in the Kilnsea wetlands-beacon ponds area with the 2 Red-necked Phalaropes, Garganey, the Great White Egret, a brilliant count of 82 Little Egret, 4 Curlew Sandpiper, a Little Stint, 2 Wood Sandpiper, 2 Spotted Redshank, 7 Greenshank and 2 Caspian Gull. Aslo here a Little-ringed Plover, 40 Black-tailed Godwit, 10 Ruff, 2000 Dunlin, 6 Snipe, 2 Common Sandpiper, a Green Sandpiper, 5 Little Gull and 2 Yellow-legged Gull. 

Over the sea a Great Northern Diver, 3 Manx Shearwater, a Sooty Shearwater, 13 Arctic Skua and a Great Skua while the evening roost movement had a Roseate Tern, 1353 Common Tern, 146 Sandwich and 4 Black Tern.

Grounded migrants included 11 Willow Warbler, 23 Whitethroat, 2 Pied Flycatcher, the Black Redstart, 3 Wheatear and 30 Yellow Wagtail.

A lovely late summers day with plenty of hot sunshine and a F2 north easterly. Watches: 0615-1000.

Amazingly there are now 2 juvenile Red-necked Phalarope together on beacon ponds along with all the usual back up species present in the area including the Garganey, 80 Teal, a Great White Egret, 77 Little Egret, 3 Avocet, a Little-ringed Plover, 21 Black-tailed Godwit, 7 Ruff, 6 Snipe, 2 Common Sandpiper, 10 Green Sandpiper (8 south), 850 Redshank, a Wood Sandpiper, 1 Spotted Redshank, 100 Mediterranean Gull and a Yellow-legged Gull. 

A Wryneck showed well in the evening at chapel cottage, but generally there were fewer migrants about with just 8 Willow Warbler, 5 PIed Flycatcher, a Redstart, 8 Whinchat and a Tree Pipit with the Black Redstart still at the Point and a Cetti's Warbler along the canal.

Other sihgtings from then day were 2 Sooty Shearwater and 8 Arctic Skua over the sea, 7 Black Tern and 9 Pintailon the Humber

Sunny spells with light F2 north westerlies. Watches: 0600-1000.

The KIlnsea wetlands and beacon ponds area dominated the proceeding yet again, the juvenile Red-necked Phalarope still present along with the Garganey, a Spoonbill, the Great White Egret, 11 Black-tailed Godwit, 4 Ruff, a Curlew Sandpiper, 2 Common Sandpiper, 4 Green Sandpiper, 1050 Redshank, a Wood Sandpiper, 5 Greenshank, 51 Little Gull, 2 Caspian Gull and a Yellow-legged Gull. 

A Turtle Dove was the highlight of the grounded migrants, the Black Redstart still present at the Point but also 95 Willow Warbler, 23 Whitethroat, a Goldcrest, 1 Spotted Flycatcher, a Redstart, 4 Whinchat, a Wheatear, 27 Yellow Wagtail and a Tree Pipit.

There was a trickle of birds over the sea with 4 Pintail, 2 Great Crested Grebe and 10 Arctic Skua the standouts. Full coiunts on Trektellen.

Rain until mid-afternoon then brightening up with a F5 north westerly. Watches: 0620-1015.

While little change overall there was great variety of good species in the Kilnsea wetlands area, the juvenile Red-necked Phalarope still delighting and plaenty of backup with a Garganey, the Spoonbill, 30 Little Egret, 2 Avocet, a Little-ringed Plover, 19 Black-tailed Godwit, 4 Ruff, 3 Little Stint, 4 Common Sandpiper, 4 Green Sandpiper, 725 Redshank, a Wood Sandpiper, 1 Spotted Redshank, 3 Greenshank, 3 Caspian Gull and 3 Yellow-legged Gull and thats not even mentionoing the hoardes of commoner species! 14 Black Tern and 9 Little Gull were nearby on the Humber.

Grounded migrants saw a Black Redstart at the Point, 2 Pied Flycatcher, 4 Whinchat, a Wheatear and 8 Willow Warbler. 

Over the sea 2 Roseate Tern and a Pomarine Skua were the highlights. Full counts on Trektellen.

Cloudy with thunder around very warm and muggy and a F5 south westerly. Watches: 0530-1015.

While there was an almost complete clearout of migrants there was still an impressive 25 Black Tern again 'anting' along the peninsula with just a Pied Flycatcher and 5 Whinchat from the previous day. There were also some other great counts with 1280 Shelduck on the Humber and 86 Little Egret on Kilnsea wetlands.

The Kilnsea wetlands area continued to impress with the juvenile Red-necked Phalarope still present, 2 Garganey, 22 Shoveler, 10 Wigeon, 266 Teal, a Spoonbill, 10 Grey Heron, 3 Avocet, 20 Black-tailed Godwit, 4 Ruff, a juvenile Curlew Sandpiper, 1 Little Stint, 2 Common Sandpiper, 3 Green Sandpiper, 2 Wood Sandpiper, 12 Greenshank, 220 Mediterranean Gull, 4 Caspian Gull and a Yellow-legged Gull.

Mainly cloudy with just the odd glimpse of the sun with a F3 south easterly. Watches: 0600-1000, 

It was a good day all round with the Kilnsea wetlands/beacon pondsarea in particular busy again, the Red-necked Phalarope still present and showing well plus a Garganey, 62 Little Egret, a Spoonbill, 10 Avocet, 21 Black-tailed Godwit, 4 Ruff, 2 Little Stint, 2 Common Sandpiper, 5 Green Sandpiper, 2 Wood Sandpiper, a Spotted Redshank, a Greenshank, 2 Caspian Gull and 2 Yellow-legged Gull.

The south easterly wind brought an arrival of migarnts to the area with 17 Black Tern many of which were feeding on flying ants near chalk bank, 16 Willow Warbler, a Spotted Flycatcher, 27 Pied Flycatcher, 18 Whinchat, 3 Wheatear and 20 Yellow Wagtail.

The day also saw a trickle of Ducks and Waders over the sea the best of which was 212 Teal and 2 Great Skua south. Full counts on Trektellen.

Sightings from the day saw a nice juvenile Red-necked Phalarope found at beacon ponds in the afternoon with the same area also hosting a Spoonbill, 3 Little Stint. a Wood Sandpiper, 3 Caspian Gull and 250 Medierranean Gulls.

A Black Redstart was at the point, 1-2 Cuckoo in Easington and a Spotted Flycatcher at cliff farm.

Lengthy sunny spells clouded over with a moderate F4 south westerly. Watches: 0605-0935, 1730-2030.

It was a day pretty much as you were with Kilnsea wetlands holding a Garganey, 2 Wigeon, 25 Teal, 42 Little Egret, a Spoonbill, 8 Black-tailed Godwit, 2 Ruff, 2 Little Stint, a Common Sandpiper, 2 Green Sandpiper, 108 Mediterranean Gull, 2 Caspian Gull and a Yellow-legged Gull. On the Humber 1568 Golden Plover was a good count.

The best movement of the day occured during the evening roost movement which had been largely very quiet this autumn with 4 Black Tern, 128 Sandwich, 1076 Common and 12 Arctic Tern with a trickle of Waders over the sea during the day.

While grounded migarnts have declined during the week there were still 44 Willow Warbler counted but a scattering of other species like 3 Pied Flycatcher, 5 Whinchat, 3 Wheatear, a Garden Warbler and 4 Tree Pipit were maybe harder to pin down.

Mainly cloudy morning brightening up in the afternoon with a F 5 westerly, Watches: 0600-0930.

The Wryneck continued to delight at middle camp and the Wood Warbler re-appeared in the garden of hillrise, but less migrants were present generally with just 4 Pied Flycatcher, a Whinchat, 1 Wheatear, 23 Willow Warbler and a Grasshopper Warbler. 

The Kilnsea wetlands area was again good with a Garganey, 1 Spoonbill, 15 Black-tailed Godwit, 3 Ruff, 2 Little Stint, 2 Common Sandpiper, 2 Green Sandpiper, a Wood Sandpiper, 4 Greenshank, 78 Mediterranean Gull, 40 Little Egret, 2 Caspian Gull and a Yellow-legged Gull. On the Humber 668 Shelduck and 487 Bar-tailed Godwit were noteworthy.

A male Southern Migrant Hawker was near the visitor centre.

Cloudy at dawn slowly brightened up with a F3 westerly. Watches: 0600-0930.

Early morning a Nightjar was accidentally flushed from just outside the church field ringing lab while the Wryneck was showing again nicely at middle camp backed up by decent numbers of migrants in the area including 26 Pied Flycatcher, 4 Whinchat, a Wheatear, 14 Willow Warbler, a Grasshopper Warbler, 1 Garden Warbler and 18 Whitethroat. 

Late evening a Cory's Shearwater flew south off beacon ponds but little else bar 7 Red-breasted Merganser and 2 Black Tern south.

Kilnsea wetlands was again busy with 2 Garganey, 2 Wigeon, 125 Teal, a Spoonbill, 3 Little-ringed Plover, 18 Black-tailed Godwit, 3 Ruff, 2 Little Stint, 2 Common Sandpiper, 2 Green Sandpiper, 126 Mediterranean Gull, 3 Caspian Gull and a Yellow-legged Gull.

The odd sunny spells in a cool F6 northerly wind. Watches: 0615-1315, 1615-1915.

The sea came to the fore for maybe the first time this autumn a nice adult Sabines Gull flying north (maybe the same south later) the highlight while totals for the day were 37 Fulmar, 9 Sooty Shearwater, 500 Manx Shearwater, 353 Gannet, 247 Oystercatcher, just 15 Kittiwake, 2 Black Tern, 15 Great Skua, a Pomarine Skua, 84 Arctic Skua, a Long-tailed Skua and 2 Puffin.

Other areas were a bit quieter today as the sea recieved plenty of attention but a Wood Warbler appeared in some Easington gardens backed up by 18 Pied Flycatcher, 2 Spotted Flycatcher, a Redstart and 4 Wheatear while Kilnsea wetlands still had a Garganey, a Spoonbill, 1 Great White Egret, 11 Black-tailed Godwit, 3 Ruff, a Little Stint, 1 Common Sandpiper, 1417 Redshank, a Wood Sandpiper, 6 Greenshank, 24 Mediterranean Gull, 3 Caspian Gull and a Yellow-legged Gull

Ringing House Sparrow 10, Great Tit 1, Whitethroat 1, Robin 1, Pied Flycatcher 3, Greenfinch 1, Goldfinch 2, Linnet 1, 20/8

Low cloud and sea fret slowly cleared giving sunny spells before cloud and rain moved in late with a F5 north easterly. Watches: 0530-0915.

It was busy up in the Kilnsea wetlands area with so much to look at and a fantastic array of Waders and other species was on show, The White-rumped Sandpiper was again the highlight but backed up by 4 Avocet, 2 Little-ringed Plover, 14 Black-tailed Godwit, 4 Ruff, 3 Curlew Sandpiper, 3500 Dunlin, 2 Little Stint, 6 Snipe, 2 Common Sandpiper, 2 Green Sandpiper, a Wood Sandpiper, 1047 Redshank, a Spotted Redshank and 9 Greenshank along with 2 Garganey, 45 Little Egret, a Spoonbill, 1 Great White Egret, a Caspian Gull, 1 Yellow-legged Gull and 2 Black Tern.

Migrant numbers are slowly dropping off with a Cuckoo, 1 Hobby, 14 Willow Warbler, 16 Pied Flycatcher, a Redstart, 2 Whinchat and 3 Wheatear still to be found around the area and the Cetti's Warbler again at chapel cottage.

Mostly sunny and warm with some cloud rolling in and a small thunder shower late afternoon. Watches: 0530-1000.

Migrants still featured prominently with 43 Pied Flycatcher in the area the standout species backed up by 2 Cuckoo, 27 Willow Warbler, 18 Reed Warbler, 3 Garden Warbler, a Redstart and 6 Whinchat,

It was also another good day for Waders with the White-rumped Sandpiper again on the Humber along with 2 Curlew Sandpiper and 2 Spotted Redshank, 6 Common Sandpiper, 4 Green Sandpiper, 4 Ruff, a Wood Sandpiper and 7 Greenshank in the Kilnsea wetlands area. This area also holding a Garganey, 1 Spoonbill, 2 Caspain Gull and 2 Yellow-legged Gull.

A bright sunny day with a light F2 north easterly, Watches: 0600-0900.

It seemed like the day took a while to get going after another succesful annual Spurn BBQ. When observers got out and about there were still good numbers of common migrants scattered around the area which included 33 Pied Flycatcher, a Spotted Flycatcher, 12 Willow Warbler, a Cuckoo, 2 Redstart, 9 Whinchat, 6 Wheatear, 22 Yellow Wagtail and 2 Tree Pipit.

The White-rumped Sandpiper showed quite well off the Warren while other Wader totals in the general area included 448 Ringed Plover, 10 Whimbrel, 50 Black-tailed Godwit, 1000 Knot, a Little Stint2 Curlew Sandpiper, a Ruff, 3 Common Sandpiper, 4 Green Sandpiper, 250 Redshank, a Spotted Redshank and 9 Greenshank. Kilnsea wetlands also had the Garganey and Spoonbill.

Over the sea a Sooty Shearwater flew north along with a trickle of south bound Waders while overland 2 Marsh Harrier and 114 House Martin flew south. Full counts on Trektellen.

Bright and sunny with a F2 north easterly. Watches: 0610-0910.

The best of todays action was in the Kilnsea wetlands/beacon ponds area the White-rumped Sandpiper still hanging about along with 2 Garganey, a Spoonbill, 1 Little-ringed Plover, 10 Black-tailed Godwit, a Ruff, 4000 Dunlin, 2 Green Sandpiper, 680 Redshank, 4 Wood Sandpiper, 14 Greenshank and 3 Black Tern.

Migrant wise 36 Pied Flycatcher were still delighting observers with 36 Willow Warbler, 27 Sedge Warbler, a Spotted Flycatcher, 6 Redstart, 10 Whinchat, 3 Wheatear, 21 Yellow Wagtail and a Tree Pipit suitable back up species.

A bright clear sunny day with a light F1 easterly breeze remaining very warm. Watches: 0500-1200.

A Garganey was new in at Kilnsea wetlands where there were also 2 Spoonbill, 60 Little Egret,18 Black-tailed Godwit, 2 Wood Sandpiper, a Ruff, 1 Common Sandpiper, 702 Redhank, 7 Greenshank and a Caspian Gull, while a small increase in common migrants saw an Icterine Warbler at chapel cottage, 25 Pied Flycatcher, 3 Redstart, 6 Whinchat, 4 Spotted Flycatcher, 22 Willow Warbler and a juvenile Cuckoo recorded with the Cetti's Warbler still at chapel cottage. 

Our 2nd Purple Hairstreak was in the crown carpark.

The day again saw a scatter of common migrants with 10+ Pied Flycatcher, 2 Whinchat, a Wheatear and 1 Cuckoo. The Cetti's Warbler was again at chapel cottage and 2 Spoonbill, a Wood Sandpiper, Ruff, juvenile Caspian Gull and Yellow-legged Gull on KIlnsea wetlands.

Warm bright sunny day without a cloud in the sky and a F2 south easterly. Watches: 0500-1000.

A small arrival of drift migrants brought 11 Pied Flycatcher, 29 Willow Warbler, 2 Garden Warbler, a Whinchat and 20 Yellow Wagtail to the area plus a Black Tern to the Humber. 

One of the White-rumped Sandpipers was again on the Humber off the Warren at high tide plus 476 Ringed Plover, a Curlew Sandpiper, 230 Sanderling, 3000 Dunlin and a Spotted Redshank, while the Kilnsea wetlands area had 2 Spoonbill, 2 Little-ringed Plover, a Green Sandpiper, 1 Caspian Gull, a Yellow-legged Gull and 45 Little Tern.

Polite reminder for all visitors: the Little Tern colony at Beacon Ponds is extremely vulnerable to disturbance. PLEASE STAY WELL AWAY from the fenced area of beach which is clearly signposted, and respect the wardens on duty. Up to 90 birds are present in the colony and can be viewed well from the flood bank.

Bright and sunny with a light F1 north westerly. Watches: 0550-0930, 1800-2030.

The best of the days sightings were from Kilnsea wetlands and beacon ponds which included 51 Teal, a Spoonbill, 55 Little Egret, 2 Black-tailed Godwit, 14 Snipe, a Common Sandpiper, 7 Greenshank, a Spotted Redshank which flew off to the Humber, 23 Mediterranean Gull, 3 Caspian Gull and a Yellow-legged Gull.

Bright and sunny with a light F3 north westerly. Watches: 0500-0930.

The sighting of the day was Spurns first Purple Hairstreak in an Easington garden. The birding highlights were a Spoonbill and 2 Caspian Gull on Kilnsea wetlands on which was a much quieter day. Sightings here also included 49 Little Egret, an Avocet, 2 Little-ringed Plover, 6 Snipe, a Common Sandpiper, 7 Greenshank and a Yellow-legged Gull

Bright and sunny with a F3 north westerly. Watches: 0600-1000.

The Humber yet again had good numbers of Waders roosting off the Warren due to the 'low' high tides. Viewing here allowed 2 WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPERS watched simultaneously. Also here were 355 Grey Plover, 320 Curlew, 694 Bar-tailed Godwit, 1200 Knot, 2 Curlew Sandpiper, 5000 Dunlin and 828 Redshank, while the KIlnsea wetlands area had 2 Marsh Harrier, a Little-ringed Plover, 12 Snipe, 2 Common Sandpiper, a Wood Sandpiper, 8 Greenshank, 12 Mediterranean Gull and a juvenile Caspian Gull

There was a scatter of migrants again in the area with a Cuckoo, 40 Willow Warbler, a Stonechat and 2 Tree Pipit, while there were some bits on the move today over land and sea the best being 34 Teal, a Tufted Duck, 3 Marsh Harrier, a Red Kite, 6 Black-tailed Godwit, a Greenshank, 102 Sand Martin, 317 Swallow and 93 House Martin. Mostly bright and sunny, a nice summers day with a F2 north westerly. Watches: 0550-0930/.

The White-rumped Sandpiper appeared off the Warren at high tide, but flushed by a visitor flying a drone at high tide. The Humber also held the biggest Wader counts with the low tides allowing them to roost on the shingle spits with 1000 Knot, 3500 Dunlin, a Curlew Sandpiper and a Common Sandpiper. Kilnsea wetlands chipped in with a Spoonbill, a Little-ringed Plover, 120 Redshank, a Wood Sandpiper, 3 Greenshank and a german ringed Caspian Gull

The day also saw some decent migrant totals with a Tree Pipit, 43 Willow Warbler, a Garden Warbler, 2 Whinchat and a Wheatear.

Sunny spells with the odd light shower and a F3 north westerly. Watches: 0600-1000, 1800-1900.

The White-rumped Sandpiper was again on the Humber in the chalky poimt area while in the Kilnsea wetlands and beacon ponds area 226 Greylag Geese, a Spoonbill, 2 Little-ringed Plover, 2 Black-tailed Godwit, a Curlew Sandpiper, just 500 Dunlin, 6 Snipe, 3 Green Sandpiper, a Wood Sandpiper, 7 Greenshank, 12 Mediterranean Gull, 4 juvenile Caspian Gull, a Yellow-legged Gull and 160 Little Tern.

Up at Sammys point 2 juvenile Cuckoo were present and 24 Willow Warbler in the Easington and Kilnsea area,

Mainly sunny with an increasing F4 north westerly. Watches: 0600-1450.

It was quiet over the sea, while KIlnsea wetlands was again busy and it was nice to see a small arrival presumably British birds which saw the first 2 Pied Flycatcher and Whinchat of the autumn along with a great count of 45 Willow Warbler and a local rarity with a juvenile Green Woodpecker in the Kilnsea area.

The adult White-rumped Sandpiper re-appeared again on the Humber at Sammys with the Kilnsea wetlands area holding a Spoonbill, 1 Avocet, 700 Knot, a Curlew Sandpiper, 4000 Dunlin, a Wood Sandpiper, 8 Greenshank, 19 Mediterranean Gull, 3 Caspian Gull, 4 Yellow-legged Gull and 206 Little Tern.

Overcast with the odd light shower and a F5 south westerly. Watches: 0600-1015.

Some decent movement over the sea brought 20 Shelduck, 14 Teal, 4 Manx Shearwater, 24 Oystercatcher, 114 Whimbrel, 12 Black-tailed Godwit, 36 Knot, 18 Dunlin, a Greenshank and 203 Common Tern. Overland 2 Red Kite, 242 Swift, 241 Sand Martin and 561 SWallow and 54 House Martin headed south.

The Kilnsea wetlands area had 5 Little-ringed Plover, 10 Black-tailed Godwit, 700 Knot, 4000 Dunlin, 4 Snipe, 250 Redshank, 2 Wood Sandpiper, 6 Greenshank, 2 Yellow-legged Gull and a juvenile Wheatear.

Overcast with rain until midday and the odd sunny spell with a F6 south westerly. Watches: 0650-1015, 1500-1600, 1830-2030.

Once again there was some Wader movement over the sea but maybe not as busy as we were expecting. Todays counts were a Tufted Duck, 19 Oystercatcher, a Golden Plover, 5 Grey Plover, 22 Whimbrel, 9 Black-tailed Godwit, 14 Turnstone, 60 Knot, 27 Sanderling, 122 Dunlin and 20 Redshank with the evening Tern roost producing 530 Common and 12 Arctic Terns. During the afternoon 3000 Black-headed Gulls arrived in/off and conitunued North west.

Kilnsea wetlands again had a Spoonbill, 2 Little-ringed Plover, 13 Black-tailed Godwit, a Ruff, 600 Knot, a Wood Sandpiper, 4000 Dunlin, 2 Green Sandpiper, 4 Greenshank, 40 Little Gull and a juvenile Caspian Gull.

Sunny spells with the odd shower some heavy with a F3 south easterly. Watches: 0550-1000.

Kilnsea wetlands once again came up trumps with a relatively brief WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPER, different from the bird a week ago lost in the swirling sea of Waders visiting at high tide. What other birds are waiting to be found among these masses? Also in the area a Garganey, the Spoonbill, 48 Little Egret, 3 Little-ringed Plover, a Curlew Sandpiper, 4000 Dunlin, a Little Stint, 2 Green Sandpiper, a Wood Sandpiper, 500 Redshank and 5 Greenshank along with a Yellow-legged Gull and 112 Little Tern.

It was another decent day of Wader movement over the sea punctuated by a good count of 493 Oystercatcher heading south. Other noteworthy counts were 24 Turnstone, 53 Dunlin and 113 Redshank, while 25 Manx Shearwater were also counted. Full counts on Trektellen.
