APPLICATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED FOR THIS POSITION. Spurn Bird Observatory is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as an Assistant Warden. The Assistant Warden will work closely with the Observatory Manager, Warden, Little Tern Head Warden and other team members to actively support the daily operations of the observatory, assist with conservation efforts, conduct bird surveys, engage with visitors, and contribute to the overall success of our conservation and research initiatives.

Migfest Young Photographer Competition 2023

Over the Spurn Migration Festival 2023 weekend, we asked attendees aged 25 or under to submit up to three images captured during the weekend, explaining in a caption what the image meant to them. It was as much about what the image represented, explained in the caption, as it was the image itself. Thus, it was open to all, from those using borrowed cameras on mobile phones through to those donning fancy photography kit.
