Great news from Spurn Bird Observatory!

We’re really pleased to share that we’ve been awarded funding through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF).

This grant will help us deliver our “MigFest & Beyond” project, which includes:
✅ A new toilet and shower block with storage at Kew Villa
✅ A bird hide at Beacon Ponds for better wildlife watching
✅ Marquees and signage to support events like MigFest and BioBlitz
✅ New interpretation panels at the Nature Hub

These improvements will:
✨ Make visits to Spurn more comfortable and welcoming
✨ Support volunteers and researchers with better facilities
✨ Bring more people to the area, benefitting local tourism and the wider community
✨ Give everyone more chances to enjoy and learn about nature
