There’s no better way to discover the magic of Spurn than by joining one of our guided walks. Led by our knowledgeable team, these walks are a wonderful opportunity to get closer to nature, learn more about the area’s wildlife and history, and enjoy the very best of what Spurn has to offer.
Whether you are new to wildlife watching or have been visiting Spurn for years, our walks are designed to be relaxed, informative and suitable for all. Expect plenty of fresh air, good company and the chance to see something special along the way.
A summer highlight. Join us as we explore Spurn’s wetlands in search of dragonflies and damselflies, some of which are scarce or expanding their range. These lively walks are the perfect introduction to these charismatic insects.

Our most popular guided walk, taking in the famous “Spurn Triangle”. With its mix of habitats and ever-changing wildlife, no two treks are the same. Expect migrating birds, sweeping views over the Humber, and the chance to learn about the Observatory’s work along the way.

Join us as we seek out Spurn’s famous autumn warblers. From the common to the rare, these small but fascinating birds make Spurn one of the best migration hotspots in Britain. A must for anyone keen to learn their songs, calls and identification tips.
