Coronavirus Update: Spurn Bird Observatory is open

We wanted to let you know about our response to the Coronavirus COVID-19 situation.

19 March 2020

Most importantly, we hope that all of your family and friends are safe during this period. These are very challenging times but we know that nature can be a powerful force for good in difficult circumstances. It can lift our spirits, educate us, inspire us and provide a space for us to exercise and enjoy fresh air. As such, we have decided to keep the all the bird observatory operations open as long as possible. We will monitor the situation closely and notify you immediately of any changes that may be necessary.

We feel confident that we will emerge from this stronger than ever before and we all appreciate and thank you for your continued support without which we could not manage.

Best wishes and good health to all from everyone here at Spurn Bird Observatory.
