Coronavirus Update: Spurn Bird Observatory

In line with the most recent government advice and directives, the Spurn Bird Observatory Trust directors have taken the decision to close the Observatory building with immediate effect until further notice.

21 March 2020

It is still our intention to keep Spurn Bird Observatory land (Sykes Field, Chruch Field, Corner Field) open to our members.

This is not a decision that has been taken lightly, but we believe it is the most responsible course of action during this challenging time for all of us.

We feel confident that we will emerge from this stronger than ever before and we all appreciate and thank you for your continued support without which we could not manage.

Best wishes and good health to all from everyone here at Spurn Bird Observatory.

Rob Adams – Chairman and Treasurer of Spurn Bird Observatory Trust Ltd
