Our annual Friends of Spurn BBQ will take place on Saturday 1st August, and we look forward to welcoming our members, volunteers and supporters for an enjoyable evening at the Observatory.

BBQ lit from: 5:00 pm
Location: Spurn Bird Observatory
Food will be provided, although anyone wishing to bring along a salad, cake or another side to share is very welcome to do so. Please remember to bring your own drinks.
We'll also be holding our popular tombola. If you have any unwanted gifts, bottles, chocolates or other suitable prizes that you would be willing to donate, we'd be extremely grateful. Donations can be dropped off at the Observatory ahead of the event.
If you're travelling from further afield, why not make a weekend of it? There is currently availability in the Observatory accommodation, along with a couple of pitches available at Kew Villa. If you would like to book accommodation or a camping pitch, please get in touch with the Observatory.
The Friends of Spurn BBQ is a members' event. If you're not already a Friend of Spurn and would like to support the work of the Observatory, we'd be delighted to welcome you as a member.
