Further to our previous announcement on September 2nd Spurn Bird Observatory are pleased to announce that they have today successfully completed the legal formalities for the purchase of an additional plot of land.

The new site is located on the South side of Easington Road close to the Blue Bell and adjacent to Four Ways cottage. It is our intention to develop the area into another migrant rich habitat where birds can feed and shelter whilst en route to either their Summer or Wintering quarters.
Like our recently improved Church Field the site will include a number of special features where birds can be enjoyed by visiting birders.
