Sadly we've made the decision to cancel the annual Friends of Spurn member's BBQ planned for Saturday 8th August.

Obviously with the cancellation of the 2020 Spurn Migration Festival as well, this year we will be missing a lot of the social aspect of Spurn which makes it such a great place to stay and go birding, but with the current government guidelines it was unrealistic to continue to plan for such a large event in a month's time.
We hope to be able to organise an event in the future to serve as a replacement for the BBQ - a chance for all of us here at the Observatory to say thank you to all our friends and supporters. Keep an eye on the website of our social media for updates.
In the meantime, we hope you remain safe and healthy, and look forward to the time when we can welcome all back to the Observatory and bird together once again.
